Engaging Families in South Africa

Eileen works closely with a rural South African school, A.V. Bukani Primary in Addo, South Africa. This year she introduced the concept of family engagement to the school -- something rarely seen in South Africa. With support of the wonderful principal, teachers and parent leaders, the families created a school quilt together, using the model developed by "Tellin' Stories" at Teaching for Change.
